Almost everyday, people are confronted by news and events that relate to a major topic – climate change. Nowadays, the constant increasing number of people concerned about what is happening to the planet makes it necessary to highlight the evolution of this “social problem”.

In order to obtain answers and inform young adults, the theme developed throughout the project of this dissertation consists on studying the causes that may be in the genesis of this climate scourge. Alongside this, the project tries to understand the real modifications that are being made. Therefore, visualization of information will assume the main role, since it will be through this that the data will be represented clearly and directly.

As it is possible to see on the navigation bar, the website is divided into four important parts: (i) those responsible for these changes; (ii) what is changing; (iii) how to change our behavior and, finally, (iv) news related to climate change, being possible to find the answers to these hypothetical questions inside each tab.

The intente of this project is to enable the user to create a relationship of familiarity with the theme and the data, increasing their knowledge about what climate change is and in what it consists, as well as changing their behavior in favor of a better planet.

This is a project developed as part of a dissertation of the Master of Design and Multimedia, University of Coimbra. Directed by Marta Sousa under the orientation of Penousal Machado and Catarina Maçãs.
