I really like reading. It's wonderful to enter the world of those who expose themselves to us. Yes, because I believe that behind every story there is a part of its authors life, personality and feelings.

My favorite writers are:

Florbela Espanca	- portuguese poetry writer. Sadness and self-pity are always present in her a work. However, it is wonderful to enter her life through her work. You can read something I've written about her and her work some years ago. John Grisham	- his work is great! I've only read "A Time to Die" and "The Firm" but I will surely read his other books. John Grisham's biography
Michael Dibdin	- Although I've only discovered his work recently, he already is one of my favorite writers. He manages to built a whole physical and social environment that carries us into his policials. Ratking and Dirty Tricks are the books I've read. They are both very different. The first, is traditional policial but where the quality of his descriptions take us in a trip to Venice. I had already been to Venice when I read this book. Reading it remembered me of all the particular characteristics of the Italian city. Dirty Tricks, however, is far from being only a policial. With the sarcasm and irony of the narrator (who is also the main character) this book tell us a story of lies, coincidences, sex, betrayal, and other things alike. Try them! Unfortunately, I do not have much time to write. And I say unfortunately, not because I think that the world has much to gain from what I write, but because I remember that writing always helped me to free myself from my problems.

Travel is my supreme delight! Well... more or less! What I mean is that I do really like traveling. It does not matter where to or by what means of transport. The important is to go! If I could list my destinies in order of preference, England would come first and Italy on the other extreme of the list. However, I've been twice to Italy and never to England. Life is like this!...
