2003/01/30 - Pedro Amaro's J2ME games reach Asia
A cooperation agreement between Pedro Amaro and iiL Corp has been signed. iiL Corp will be responsible for the distribution of Pedro Amaro's J2ME games in the Asian market, making them available in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Thailand, among other countries.

"The current size and tremendous growth potential of the Asian wireless market make it challenging and unique" said Pedro Amaro. He also mentioned that "being able to enter it teaming up with a company like iiL is a wonderful opportunity".

As said by business development manager of iiL "iiL is glad to have Pedro Amaro game distribution rights in Asia. There are great opportunities in the exciting Asian market and the opportunities for Pedro Amaro games in Asia are unlimited."

The first titles covered by this agreement are Colourama, Colourama LE and Energox. The release of these games in the Asian continent is expected to happen in March.
