I decided to take MSc Biomedical Engineering in the University of Coimbra. Here found a whole other world of technology and knowlege hopes that tech and software solutions are able to help and quicker solve health problems.
Biomedical engineering, or bioengineering, is the application of engineering principles to the fields of biology and health care. Bioengineers work with doctors, therapists and researchers to develop systems, equipment and devices in order to solve clinical problems. Specialized in Biomaterials and Medical Instrumentations, it is the application of eletronic and chemistry engeneering to the improvement and/or creation of new solutions for the health care field.
The course of Science and Technology aims to provide the student with a set of knowledge and skills that allow you to observe and organize its surroundings, as well as understanding the science and technology and recognize and relate its implications in contemporary society.
